Alexa Valdez - FRC
I am delighted to be joining Children FIRST Therapy as a Family Resource Coordinator! I was born and raised in California and recently moved to Spokane in July of 2023. I studied at the University of California, Davis where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Human Development and an emphasis in Child Development.
Since receiving my degree in 2018, I have had opportunities to work with children ranging in ages 0-8 providing behavioral health services. Before moving to Spokane, I was an Early Interventionist in San Diego for children ages 0-3, and I realized how passionate and dedicated I am to helping young children and their families succeed. Now, I’m eager to start my journey as an FRC and serve families while also being a strong support system for them.
I currently live in Spokane Valley with my boyfriend. Outside of work, I find joy in reading and watching movies with my boyfriend. I also enjoy listening to vinyl records while painting or coloring.
