Millie Baxter-FRC

I am incredibly excited to be joining Children FIRST Therapy as a Family Resource Coordinator. I was born and Raised in a small town up north called Usk. I moved to Spokane in 2017 to attend Eastern Washinton University where I received my bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work.

Since Receiving my master’s degree in 2021, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children ranging from 3-12 years old in several different settings. I worked for a year with Spokane Public Schools as a Family Mental Health Therapist working with elementary age children and their families, focusing on various mental health and behavioral health needs. Before joining Children FIRST Therapy, I was working with preschool families providing resources and various other family support services within a ECEAP preschool program. While working with the ECEAP preschool program I realized how much I enjoyed working alongside families through the ups and downs of everyday life.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and orange kitty Mango (gogo for short). I enjoy reading, spending time outside and traveling or planning my next trip.
