Marissa Ribeiro MS, CCC-SLP

Marissa is a speech-language pathologist who received her master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Eastern Washington University.

Marissa has experience working in early intervention, public elementary schools, and developmental preschools. She has primarily worked with children with language delay, speech sound disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Marissa also has experience with treating fluency disorders, stuttering, and pediatric feeding. She is committed to holistic and individualized care to help children and their families develop speech, language, and feeding skills in their home.

Marissa is committed to staying up to date with current research. Marissa’s graduate research project on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) training for healthcare professionals received the Educational Impact Award from Eastern Washington University and was selected for presentation at the national ASHA convention in 2024.

In her free time, Marissa enjoys anything outdoors, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She has a personal goal to visit all the US National Parks.
