Andrew Cole
Andrew “Andy” Cole, an occupational educator with Spokane Public Schools, travels among six elementary schools in Spokane. Andy grew up in Townsville, Australia, and graduated from James Cook University there, majoring in occupational therapy. He moved to Southern California where he worked as an occupational therapist in school districts throughout Southern California and at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. He also pursued his passion for music, playing bass guitar and touring with a metal band for several years. Andy is adjunct faculty at Eastern Washington University and serves on EWU’s Advisory Board. Andy moved to Spokane after meeting his future wife, Alexandra, a Gonzaga University graduate and now first grade teacher at Linwood Elementary. They married in 2022 and enjoy a busy life with their two labs, Branch and Poppy Jane. Andy said yes to the Children FIRST Therapy board because: “I want to contribute to the community and give back.”
