Kellie Tanascu
Kellie Tanascu is a registered nurse who grew up in the Seattle area and graduated from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. Upon moving to the Spokane area she quickly realized with her husband’s law enforcement job and a new baby she needed a more regular schedule than hospital shift work could provide. She now works in a cosmetic surgery practice. Her parents lived in the South Perry District decades ago and moved back to the Spokane, which prompted Kellie’s and Jason’s move here, too. Her oldest daughter was engaged with services through ChildrenFirst and she is passionate about the mission. She sees her board service as a way to share her organization skills and creativity, and her passion for children, in a way that helps all vulnerable children served by ChildrenFIRST.
